Salaam 'aleikum, That is how you say hello in Egypt. Today I am going to share some fun facts about Egypt’s Pyramids and History. Egypt is one of the most popular countries because of its history and pyramids.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

The great pyramid of Giza was built around 4000 years ago. It is the oldest and the largest Pyramid in Egypt . It took ten to twenty years to build.The pyramid is made out of 2.3 million blocks of limestone. Hemiunu,The great builder of pyramid Giza, travelled 800km away to get the limestone. The great pyramid of Giza has a guardian statue,Head like a man body like a lion. The great pyramid of Giza is 66ft tall/20 meters high.

There are many types of pyramids, including the step pyramid,red pyramid, flat side pyramids and much more. The step pyramid is meant to help your soul climb to heaven. You can go inside some pyramids including the red pyramid. The pyramid that had been robbed many times.Pyramids are one of the most popular things in Egypt. Most pyramids were built 4000 years ago.

Pharaohs

Pharaohs are one of the most popular in ancient history in Egypt.  Pharaohs were both Kings and Queens in Egypt. A Pharaoh is the most important and powerful person in the kingdom. He/She was the head of the government and high priest of every temple. Most pharaohs were men and only a small number of female pharaohs in Egypt. Pharaohs are buried in pyramids when they die with their precious things. Most Pharaoh statues are made out of gold.
